01 / THE ESSENTIAL
Booking & Payment Information
A 30% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to officially reserve your session date. Your retainer is applied toward your total session cost, with the remaining balance due the day of your session.
Session dates are not guaranteed until both the contract and retainer have been received.

Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place outdoors or at my studio in Bloomfield, Iowa. I'm happy to help choose a location that fits the look you're going for.
What should we wear for our session?
I recommend choosing outfits that feel comfortable, coordinate naturally, and photograph well together. We can discuss colors and styling before your session.
What if we are awkward in front of the camera?
You don't need any experience being photographed! I'll help guide you through posing, movement, and small interactions so nothing feels overly staged.
How far in advance should we book?
Booking ahead is always recommended, especially for weekends and popular seasonal dates. Reach out as soon as you have a general timeframe in mind.
How do I book?
Simply submit an inquiry through my website with the type of session you're interested in, your preferred date, and any other details you'd like to share. I'll follow up with availability and the next steps.
