Hi, I'm Merissa.
I'm the photographer behind Merissa Mist Moments, based in Bloomfield, Iowa.
I'm a wife, a mama, and someone who genuinely loves being part of other people's biggest moments. Whether I'm photographing a wedding or spending the afternoon with a brand-new baby in my studio, there's nowhere else I'd rather be.
I love the excitement, the emotions, the little details, and getting to know the people who trust me to document it all.
Why Merissa Mist Moments?
Mist is my middle name, and it's always been a part of who I am. When I started my photography business, it felt natural to make it part of the name.
What makes it even more special now is that Mist is also my daughter's middle name.
Something that started as my own creative outlet has become a name that carries a little piece of both of us. And I couldn't love that more.
On your wedding day
I'll fix your veil, help keep things moving, celebrate right alongside you, and capture the moments you might not even realize are happening. I'm not someone who just shows up, takes photographs, and leaves.
During your newborn session
We'll work at your baby's pace. There is no pressure for your newborn to cooperate perfectly. We'll make time for feeding, comforting, and all the little breaks they need.
